Ben Reed co-presents at 2020 ABA Annual Developments Session

We are pleased to announce that our partner Ben Reed will be co-presenting the Annual Developments session at the 43rd Annual Forum on Franchising Annual Meeting! As those who have attended the Forum’s Annual Meeting know (and for those who have not), the Annual Developments session today is the Forum’s signature event, providing a “thoughtful, comprehensive and lively review of the year’s key judicial and legislative developments affecting franchising and distribution.”

Ben’s presentation of the Annual Developments session with co-presenter Antonia Scholz puts a cap on a year of extraordinary work by the entire Plave Koch team, who assisted Ben in reviewing and summarizing cases for the accompanying Annual Developments text that the Forum publishes each year and that Forum attendees receive as part of their registration.

This marks the second time that the ABA has invited a Plave Koch partner to co-present the Annual Update and prepare a book summarizing those cases in detail. In 2011, Lee Plave did so and, with a similar massive effort by our entire firm, we produced the 2011 version of the Annual Update book. Few firms have the depth of experience and practical capacity to handle these matters once, let alone twice, and we are honored to have been asked to co-present the ABA Forum’s signature program a second time.
