As we approach our 13th anniversary, our firm has grown to match our years. We proudly announce new partner Dave Worthen and new lawyer Maggie Naylor.

David Worthen has over 1,000 cases under his belt, and his litigation record is matched by few in the franchise bar. His broad experience representing franchisors includes intentional underreporting of sales, tax fraud, standards enforcement, covenants not to compete, encroachment, defending alleged franchise disclosure (FDD) violations, nonpayment, trademark violations, unapproved products, and vicarious liability.

Add Dave’s non-franchise cases involving patent infringement, insurance coverage, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination, and you’ve got yourself a well-rounded dispute resolution expert. Plave Koch proudly welcomes Dave to our litigation team!

Margaret Naylor also joins us as a newly-minted lawyer, having graduated cum laude from The George Washington University Law School. At GWU, Maggie served as Articles Editor for the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. She has a B.A.,magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with focused studies in Spanish and US-Latin America foreign affairs. Maggie brings to the firm her legal support experience in intellectual property and antitrust litigation, patent prosecution, and trial technology consulting.

She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in German written translation. She also has immigration experience as Legal Fellow for the Hispanic Bar Association of D.C. and has obtained a number of individual and family immigrant visas for asylum seekers and victims of criminal activity through her work with Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services.
