Background & Experience

Dave Koch represents franchisors in creating and revamping franchise programs, regulatory compliance, disputes, antitrust analysis, corporate transactions, vendor arrangements and privacy and website issues.

Mr. Koch served at the FTC from 1984-1987, when he was a staff attorney in the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection.  He then returned to Illinois to serve as Legal Counsel to the Minority Leader of the Illinois General Assembly.  Following that, Mr. Koch he rejoined the FTC in Washington, where, until 1989, he served as an Attorney-Advisor to Hon. Daniel Oliver, Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission.  Mr. Koch entered private practice in 1989.
