Regina concentrates her practice in franchising, licensing, and distribution issues, as well as general corporate transactions. She provides advice and counseling on franchise relations, terminations, transfers, regulatory compliance, establishment and operation of franchise systems, and dispute resolution. Her experience includes preparing and negotiating franchise and license agreements and preparing disclosure materials for domestic and international development transactions and relationships. Regina also has a special focus on technology and e-commerce matters.
Regina represents companies in a wide range of industries, including some of the largest global hotel and hospitality companies, food service companies and other retailers, and providers of business services. Before she joined our previous law firm, she served as an in-house counsel with Hooters of America, Inc., the franchisor and operator of the “Hooters” franchised system of restaurants.

From 1987 to 1989, he served as an Attorney-Advisor to the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission. Dave entered private practice in 1989.

Lee has extensive experience counseling distributors and franchisors, including drafting and negotiating franchise agreements for complex international and domestic transactions and advising clients on all aspects of franchise and distribution law.
Lee also counsels clients on the application of technology to franchise and distribution systems, including matters such as e-commerce, policies regarding data use and security, cybersquatting and domain name disputes, consumer complaint and cybersmear sites, software and hardware licensing, and issues relating to online and Internet services. In addition, he represents clients in matters before the Federal Trade Commission, where he practiced from 1983-87 before entering private practice.

J.H. Snow III – International
J.H. injects Plave Koch with Texas flair. He has practiced in franchise and distribution law for over 25 years, 12 of them as in-house counsel and 13 in private practice. He specializes in international franchise transactions, having completed deals in over 30 countries. He is licensed in Texas and offices in Dallas.

John has counseled clients about a wide range of product and service distribution issues, such as creating franchised and non-franchised programs; formulating and implementing strategies addressing the offer of distribution relationships to prospective franchisees and licensees and, thereafter, the ongoing relationships with them; defending against federal and state regulatory investigations and enforcement actions; and participating in formal alternative dispute resolution proceedings, such as mediation.
From 1978 though 1988, John served at the Federal Trade Commission, where he was the first coordinator of the FTC's Franchise Rule. He re-entered private practice in 1988.
John has testified as a franchise expert before Congress and state legislatures; participated as a panelist in several Federal Trade Commission public forums on consumer protection issues; served on several committees of the International Franchise Association; and he has written and spoken extensively on issues relating to franchising, advertising, and other consumer protection matters. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Who's Who in America, and has been named as a "Legal Eagle" by Franchise Times.
